| September 10, 2007 - McCutchen to pitch in game 4 of the Finals. McCutchen, who was 11=2, 2.50 at Tampa before coming to the Thunder Aug. 1, brings a toughness to the mound. He was superb in Trenton’s 3-2 Game 3 victory at Portland, allowing a run and three hits in a six-inning stint. He throws both a four-seam and two-seam fastball, a curve and change and seems to relish tough challenges. He looms as the Thunder ace in 2008. This would be LHP Shawn Nottingham’s (9-12, 4,77; 0-1, 14.29 in EL playoffs) spot to start for Akron. FULL STORY |
